Looks like our dollar is getting close to the same value as the US one, seems like now would be a great time to order stuff from the states.

Anyways, I'll be ordering some stuff from MC in the next week or two (hoping our dollar goes a little higher in that time) and was wondering if anyone needed anything. I'll be ordering greasable shackles, extra bolts and bushings for my leaf hangers, maybe a locker and likely some other things.

I'm only making this offer because I need to get some things from them, if you want in, cool, if not, I'll still be placing my own order. I just figured that since shipping will be outrageous, might as well see if anyone wanted to help offset that. Anyone who wants anything and is willing to throw down a bit for shipping is welcome to join in on my order. We'll be going with the same percentage of shipping cost as what parts you want are of the total cost before s&h. This means, if you want a $10 part out of a $100 order, you'll owe 10% of the cost of shipping, period. This might seem unfair given average weight probably doesn't scale well with price, but I'm pretty sure that even the lightest stuff from MC still costs an arm and a leg to ship individually, and it also makes figuring out who owes how much easier and it should still work out to everyones' benefit. If customs duty isn't including with the original shipping cost, you'll also be expected to pay the same percentage of the duty as shipping at the time you get your parts from me.

If a lot of people order, I'll try to see if I can get a better rate on shipping, and if MC won't give us a good rate, I have some friends who live just on the other side of the border in NY/MI, and if we can get stuff shipped from one of them instead of from Cali we might be able to save a bundle shipping since I'm pretty sure it's 48-state free atm (even more if someone wants to go on a 6 hour road trip). This would likely take more time than having it come direct from Cali. We can work this out later if necessary.

Please understand that I'm not Purolator/UPS/FedEx/Canada Post, and as a result I probably cannot deliver anything you order, my truck's in pieces so, you'll either have to come to me, or we'll have to work out some SONTT delivery service shenanigans. Of course, if you happen to live along the route I take up to my farm on the weekends, I might be able to drop stuff off. If you do have to come a long way to pick up your parts, I'll consider reimbursing some of your gas cost because of this if we can't work out alternate delivery methods, since paying out the ass for gas would negate the potential savings in shipping. I can also bring stuff to my office in Toronto for you to pickup from there (DVP and Eg) if it's easier for anyone around or further east of the city.

Keep in mind that you'll need to pay me as soon as I place the order, if you find out you can't afford what you want when I go to make the order LET ME KNOW. I'll make a post exactly 24 hours before I place the order, you'll have that time to cancel. I've been screwed on group buys for different things (this'll be my first time for truck parts though, hoping you folks are a trustworthy as you seem) before when people decide that after I've placed the order they don't want/can't afford what they asked for and refuse to pay, leaving me with a bigger bill and stuff I don't need. Please don't do this to me, I -will- hunt you down and make your life a living hell if you do, sorry, but I hate getting screwed over. I don't take paypal (banned from it) or cheques (if you -must- pay by cheque, let me know in advance), I will accept email interac transfers (which I'd prefer) or cash. Also my credit card's pocket does not run very deep, if we hit $2k, I won't accept any additional orders to make sure I can pay for shipping, first-come first-served. Please be considerate of other's needs when you put down what you want, keep your order down to a couple hundred bucks at the most, I will -not- order a transmission, lockers, etc, or anything else that is outrageously expensive for anyone but myself (which would be a locker if even I decide to get one through them).

If you do want to join in on the order, please post here with links to each item you want. I'll make a post in here when I am ready to order.

If this goes well then I'll also let you guys know when I'm getting ready to order stuff from LCE in a month or two if you want to join in on that too.

I would like to get a shifter bushing, I have held back so far because the $10 part costs more to ship. lol
I will figure out what one I need for my tranny and get back to you.
Thanks for offering this.

A general rule of thumb when you go wheeling with Jeeps guys. Either be first in line on the trail or make sure the trail is wide enough to get around them when they break.

Today was payday for me, so now I'm just waiting on the dollar going up a bit more. Gotta shoot an email to BCC to see if they can get other MC stuff to try to cut down on shipping costs. Is anyone still up for joining me on this? Start listing the stuff you'd like, I'll likely be ordering sometime in the next 2 weeks!

I can help out if you're a little short for what you want, Shawn; if you'd be willing to pay me back in parts I need from the stealership. Such as everything circled in red in this image:

Also, I'll be shooting BCC that email tonight so keep your fingers crossed on potentially cheap shipping.

Time is subject to change too, I get paid once a month so end of April would likely work out better for me than 2 weeks from now. I only said 2 weeks because I figured by then the interest rate would go up and push our dollar over par. The more valuable our dollar, the "cheaper" the parts coming from the US become.

You need some tail lights, lee? I have a few sets of 'em, but I think they're all off 3rd gen pickup's (might be the same as the 1st gen 4runner ones). They're all in reasonable condition but I doubt the bulbs are any good anymore but the sockets should be fine, and likely the same as what you need.

i need new rr sockets complete both sides. the p/o spliced in trailer wiring using those bakelite things and one of them is kaput. cant find a replacement and the wiring is getting to the point of being unserviceable, ergo new sockets.

i have a short somewhere in the drivers frt signal and the wires on both are in need of repair so i thought i would replace the sockets and kill two birds with one stone. they are both showing signs of corrosion inside the actual plug.

if your sockets are in decent shape and have some wire on them (2") for splicing and fit 1156 bulbs, let me know what you want for them.
