Yes Lee, I used a hole saw. Now I need to cut 1/2" off of both and that'll give me the 3 I need...

3? i thought the rear point was left intact to keep the drive angle somewhat the same. if you put a spacer in the back you would increase the angle at the joint and thereby increase wear and tear.

its been a long time since ive read over the bj spacers threads, not sure i can find the information to validate my response. ill see what i can find.

Tested the BJ spacers today. They did give a bit more flex.... Pay no attention to my mock up of a stinger, it's really the mock up for my plow lift. It's gonna have a snatch block that pins to it and my winch will lift/lower my plow, I just need to figurre out the height then I can make one out of round DOM. Also gonna put a reciever tube dead center on the bottom of the winch plate for the plow to slide into.

Oh, I also cut the compression bumpstops down to half the original size!

For those who may not have seen it or forgot what the plow looks like, here's a reminder!

Thanks, it 's comming. I still need to do the rear and get some longer shocks and it'll get better, but again thanks!

Oh and Lee, I re-read 4crawlers site on the diff drop spacers. There is only 2...

Finally go around to the plow..
It needs some fine tuning...

Here is the way it stands, also works fairly well!!!

Image

Here is what needs to be changed...

Image

Need to weld another u-bolt down further on the blade (yellow=u-bolt) to get a better angle on the cable (blue=cable)
Also need to cut off the top of the two support braces (red zigzag)
Then need to add 2 more braces (green=additional braces)
Also gonna lower the u-both that holds the snatch block a bit and then trim it...

Here are a few more pics...

I think my stinger might be a bit crooked?
