and yesterday i also picked up a 60/40 bench with center belt.
and a later model 22re intake (straight nose on the plenum, instead of older style bent nose) and wiring harness to go with it. =)

says it will take me 46 minutes to get there. so i should be there with a decent amount of time to get the bed loaded up

For the stright nose intake. you won't need any wiring for it. I can't remember what year your truck is but 88 and up trucks use different style injectors and the harness that goes under the plunum to them won't work on older trucks. all you need for the swap is. the plenum, throttle body the coolant hoses that go to the throttle body, and a different style threaded fitting that scres into the t-stat housing right beside the t stat. you need one that goes straight up instaed of a 90*. if you got 90's one (mine was off an 89 runner and i did not have to change this) you will have to take apart the piece behind the tps and swap it with yours as they drive the tps at different angles. use all your origonal sensors. you wilkl have a plug left over from the old style cold idle valve. there is nowhere to plug it in on the new one so i tapped it up and tucked it up underneath my intake manifold. and you might have to bend the cold start injectors fuel line a little, but i think you've got the right tool for the job haha, there are pics of the swap in my build thread.

So, the three of us going on a road trip tomorrow, eh?

Bill, can you give me the phone number for the guy you got the bench from? He was the one you were talking about with the 2 2wd parts trucks, right?

Lol, it probably would fit, 2wd and 4wd shortbed wheelbases are the same iirc.

Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to call the wrecker today about the parts I want. Oh well, I'll call in the morning, I figure that should give them enough time.
