Ardbeg was the same weekend as nl last year. That's why I wasn't there. I might be up for ardbeg this year. Don't think I am shelling out 400 bucks to run trails which are normally free. I already do enough for charity.

I loved Ardbeg and would go again in a heartbeat. I'd like to try out some different spots too. Like the ghost town idea a lot!!!

Lets get the dates firmed up soon before less important things come up.

I did a run last year to vmuts for may 24 with fjco and am planning on doing another trip the same weekend this year. Perhaps fjco and sontt can combine on this. It would be good to get to know people before the show and shine event. Doesn't have to be vmuts just a weekend trip wheeling perhaps a little camping. There were some nice spots along the trails on crown land at vmuts as well as samuel de champlain provincial park for those that want showers and bathrooms with running water.

This is one of the crown land spots with a thunderbox and redneck shower

hey cookie!

nice call on vmuts, i had forgotten about that place. it was being discussed at the of4wd when i was on the board. sounds like things are moving along there in generating interest for a variety of activities.

I hope I can get some holiday time off this summer, I'm caught between 2 employers, neither of which will let me take holidays when I want. I had to cancel a trip to our friends wedding in the Dominican because of my state of limbo. If I work at Lear my shutdown is the last week of June. If I work for Ventra my holiday is either canceled (as per the notice they just posted regarding Ventra's 2 week shutdown) or I can take it at a later date as long as higher seniority doesn't book the same week, which probably means I'll get my holidays in the fall.

It will be a fly by wire summer for me.... the last 4 years of not being able to plan holidays is making me edgy. :?
