I'll keep these in mind, certainly some easy day-trips from here. If I get a chance to scout any I'll let you guys know.

Don't forget there is also Lingham Lake, the Hydro lines (Just outside of Cooper) and there is also Whitefish Lake nearby for camping.

When I was at Whitefish last, my Brother-inlaw and I wheeled a trail (too tight for larger trucks) that came out on the back end of a logging road that took about 45min to get back out to civilization (as much as it can be out there) Then about 30min back to the access road to Whitefish. Then there was a tornado which took us over 3hrs to cut our way out... Good Times!

In a couple of weeks (after the Sontt meet and greet) my other brother inlaw and I are going to check out Old Hadtings Road (on his 4Wheelers), it is just a few miles from his house. I'll let you know how it goes...

Whitefish isn't a bad little run in if you wanna BBQ, swim, camp and such... Usually crowded on long weekends and such...

That would be cool. If you can, take some pics.
The road doesn't sound difficult, unless you own a sports car. It would be good for a weekend jaunt. Stocker trucks would probably find the road easy to travel..... then again, I'm just going by what I read.

A general rule of thumb when you go wheeling with Jeeps guys. Either be first in line on the trail or make sure the trail is wide enough to get around them when they break.
